Hello and Welcome!
My name is Rhiannon Latimer and I am a Registered Clinical Counselor. At an early age and throughout my life, as I have struggled with life’s ebbs and flows, I have realized how support and connection can provide people with a space for discovery. Through my own personal experiences, I have learned how essential it is to have a space to be heard. I believe in supporting those who are struggling to have a voice, and for that voice to provide a pathway towards growth and wellness. I am passionate about people, healing and supporting those who need it most.

In our sessions, I want clients to feel valued and heard. I truly believe each person possesses their own unique qualities and skills, to manage life’s difficulties. My goal is to provide a space where clients can discover their own unique gifts and use them to create a foundation to grow and move forward. I believe in transparency and I primarily use a strengths based approach where clients can explore themselves in a safe and supportive environment. This approach allows clients to strengthen their foundation, while learning new ways to move forward in an authentic way. Clients can expect a non-judgmental, flexible and easy going, mutual experience when in session.
My experience with clients is vast. I have extensive knowledge in relationships, couples, individuals and parent/child therapy, primarily clients seeking tools to manage conflict and connection with the people in their lives. I am passionate about supporting clients with understanding themselves in a more authentic way, specifically gender identity, sexuality, relationships and mental health. I work with clients struggling with various types of behavioural concerns, specifically substance abuse. I am also passionate about supporting clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety and ADHD.
My personal and professional values are intertwined. I believe in empowerment, supporting individuals to be the best they can be, providing clients with the tools to discover the path forward. I believe in living authentically, to align with the values you hold true. I believe in kindness and compassion, which guide my practice with clients in session, providing a safe and supportive environment to explore.
