Kayla Price
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
Kayla is currently accepting new clients.
Hello and welcome!
I am Kayla, a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). With a background in Kinesiology and a Masters in Counselling Psychology, I integrate both physical and emotional healing in my therapeutic work.
Life presents us with challenges—whether through personal identity struggles, injury recovery, or navigating major life transitions. I am passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space where we can explore your concerns together. I work from a strengths-based, client-centred approach, focusing on fostering resilience and personal growth by aligning therapy with your unique values and goals.
I specialize in working with adults and teens 14 and up experiencing depression, anxiety, burnout, and recovery from chronic pain or concussions. I am experienced in supporting individuals in high-stress professions, helping them navigate the demands of their work while building resilience and effective coping strategies to manage burnout and anxiety. I also have experience working with first responders, offering tailored support for the unique challenges they face, including trauma, compassion fatigue, and stress management.
Kayla is currently accepting new clients and her availability is:
Tuesdays 2:00pm-8:00pm
Thursdays 2:00pm-8:00pm
Fridays 8:00am-2:00pm
Kayla offers in person & virtual sessions

Having worked with a wide range of clients, I am committed to offering compassionate and culturally sensitive care. I believe in the power of neuroplasticity and post-traumatic growth, and I strive to help clients rediscover hope and balance through the counselling process. My clinical approach draws on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to further support trauma recovery.
Outside of my practice, I am an avid sports fan, an amateur athlete, and an advocate for the necessity of accessibility within the city. As a proud Trinidadian, I bring a strong sense of cultural empathy and warmth to every client interaction.
I look forward to working together to help you achieve the growth, healing, and balance you seek!
