‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through Latitude Wellness
Not a creature was stirring, not even Nitro dreaming of a mouse
The stockings were hung by Admin with care
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there
The clients were nestled, all snug in their beds
While visions of practitioners with open schedules danced in their heads
And Lauren in her kerchief and Sereena in her cap
Had passed out on the couch, for a long winters nap
When out on the street there arose such a clatter,
Brittani sprang from her desk to see what was the matter
Away to windows she flew with fright,
She threw the curtains left, and she threw the curtains right
She called out to Ali to see the new fallen snow
Blanketing the streets of Vancouver, sparkling below
When what to their wondering eyes should appear
But a miniature sleigh, and 8 tiny reindeer
With a little old driver who looked a bit sick
Ali looked confused and said “that can’t be St Nick”
When all of a sudden the clinic door opened
Santa swept into the room with a big sad frown
He looked seconds away from a total meltdown
Latitude you’ve got to help!
Cried Santa with all his might
"I don’t think i’ll make it through this night!”
Lo and Sereena jumped up without a pause
Have a seat right here, Mr.Claus
Here, hold this Teddy, tell us whats wrong when you feel ready
”Well” he said with a loud sigh
The poor man looked like he wanted to cry
Christmas spirit is at an all time low
There’s barely a drop left in the whole North Pole
The elves are exhaused, the reindeer are sore
And Mrs.Claus things I’m a total bore
The whole Christmas gang is in need of a fix
Or this whole night is going down like a ton of bricks!
And as Santa took a big deep breath
The door crashed open again
Scaring Britt half to death
In came the elves
In came the reindeer
It looked like half the North Pole arrived as a whole
Britt sprang into action and organized everyone with total satisfaction
With Wellness on her left, and Counselling to the right
It truly was a wonderful sight
”Step up to the desk, tell me your worry and I’ll assign you a practitioner or a counsellor in a hurry!”
And so the North Pole told Britt all their troubles
While she assigned them to practitioners and counsellors on the double
Dasher the head reindeer was struggling with carrying the emotional load
All the other reindeers turned right to him when they were going down a hard road
Gorette who loves being a therapist to a therapist
Was there with an open heart to help assist
Dancer was hoping around with three left feet
He couldnt spin, whirl, or twirl, since a sledding accident had left his antlers in a curl
Thank goodness for Dr.Sereena was there to adjust
Before the reindeer could totally combust
And speaking of a curl in their antler,
For a sore and achy Prancer, Dr.Sim was just the answer
And with just the right thrust the reindeer knew that a regular treatment with Dr.Sim is a must!
Vixen who had been left questioning her sexuality
Followed Duncan to his office
Where his comforting presence left her feeling safe, and grateful for his kindness
Comet had been having depressive thoughts
And wanting to enhance their self esteem
Humberto’s humour and positivity left Comet feeling absolutely supreme
Cupids diet consisted of cookies and the occasional carrot
He had no time to cook, there was no time to prepare it
His diet left him feeling bloated and tired
So he asked Dr Rochelle for help, she was someone he totally admired
Donner felt like he had lost his voice
He felt like he was always being overshadowed by his homeboys
Rhiannon stepped up with the right space to be heard
Donner felt so safe, he practically purred
Blitzen felt that his yin had been unyanged
His inner flow totally harangued
Niki floated in with her calm healing presence
A sesssion with Niki left him far from his old semblance
Rudolph had been struggling feeling different from the herd
Being neurodivergent he felt more like a bird
Jill was there to laugh and to listen
By the end of his session his red nose truly glistened
Baubles the elf loved entertaining
But struggling with substance use was extremely draining
Hayden was there with compassion empathy
Helping with addictions is totally his specialty
Twinkles the elf was feeling challenged with unhelpful thinking
Like she was left in quicksand and was slowly but surely sinking
Allison was there to help unpack all the pollution
And Twinkles left with feeling better with a tangible solution
Sparkles the elf sometimes peed when she laughed
It made her feel old and really quite daft
But Jenn was there with exercises to support her pelvic floor
And she was able to confidently chuckle when she left through the door
Jazzy the head of the wrapping division
Was full of stress due to her high ranking position
Manpreet was right there to empower prioritizing balance
And every once in a while take a day off with the occasional dalliance
Pixie the elf felt anxious and worried
Would the children wake up soon? They really ought to hurry
Ailee was there to help her feel heard and understood
And that everything would be manageable with certitude
Frosty the snowman had a click in his jaw
From constantly puffing on his pipe made of corn cob
Elise was there to needle his TMJ
And soon he was ready to go out to play
The gingerbread man was ready for some art therapy with Vanessa
He wanted to design his own fancy dressup
The Gumdrop buttons were left behind — He’d only wear them when he felt so inclined
Holly the elf had been struggling with early menopause
But she had no idea what was the cause
Dr.Grace was ready with a holistic approach
And ready to be her wellness coach
Sherbert the elf had a kink in their neck
And they threw out their back on tonight’s winter trek
Morgan was there warm tender hands
And soon Sherbert was feeling totally grand
Mrs Claus felt as though she had to parent the whole North Pole
It left her feeling empty, like there was a giant hole
Jennifer offered her the chance to feel seen, to feel heard, and to help her feel like her sense of self was no longer blurred
Snicker and doodle were a happy elf couple
But the honeymoon bliss had recently burst like a bubble
The biggest hurdle was trying to find the right night for a date
Thankfully Britt was there to help mediate
And the definition of a high pressure professional
A man who was totally out of this world exceptional
St Nick, Kris Kringle, Santa or Mr Ho Ho
The human to help him was none other than Lauren
She listened and learned and then dished out some tough love
She gave him a hug and then passed him his gloves
The lobby was now full of happy, healthy and balanced folks
There was joy and laughter from lots of silly jokes
Ali had been busy making nutritious snacks for the road
That wouldn’t weigh them down or be slowed
Their bellies now full and energy renewed
It seemed like the gang had truly been rescued.

You’ve saved christmas tonight, we’ll be grateful forever.
You’re a wonderful group, you’re kind hearted and caring
You’ve given us hope and now we’re far better fairing
We’re ready to go and to get on with our night,
we were recommended to come here
And boy were they right
And with a wink of his eye, and a twist of his head
He threw on his thick velvet coat of red
out the door they went before they were snowed in
With a last few kisses and scratches goodbye for Oden
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave the whistle
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle
But we heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight
